Minimum Entry requirement:

K.C.S.E C+ (plus) Mean grade or its equivalent, with at least a C+ (plus) in the subject clusters indicated.

Alternative A: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, English or Kiswahili

Alternative B: Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, English or Kiswahili

Or – K.A.C.E with 2 or more Principal passes with one each in Biology and Chemistry.

Upgrading program

Entry at year 2: Applicants must be holders of a Diploma in OT from a recognized Medical Training Institution or its equivalent recognized by the University Senate.

Entry at year 3– Applicants must be holders of Diploma in OT, with Higher National Diploma in Health related program recognized by the University Senate. In addition, applicants MUST be registered with the Kenya Occupational Therapists Association (KOTA). Foreign trained Therapists must be registered with respective Professional Associations in their countries of training. They must also be compliant with KOTA requirements.

Mode of study: Full time and part time. Part time classes hold on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Course duration: 4 (four) academic years,

Tuition fees per academic year: Kshs. 258,762/= (Two hundred fifty eight thousand, seven hundred and sixty two shillings)
