Minimum Entry requirement:

K.C.S.E C+ (plus) mean grade or its equivalent, with at least a C+ (plus) in the subject clusters indicated.

Alternative A: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, English or Kiswahili

Alternative B: Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, English or Kiswahili

Or K.A.C.E with 2 or more Principal passes with one each in Biology and Chemistry.

Upgrading program

Entry at year 2– Applicants must be holders of a Diploma in PT from a recognized Medical Training Institution or its equivalent as recognized by the University Senate.

Entry at year 3– Applicants must be holders of Diploma in Physiotherapy, with Higher National Diploma in Health related program recognized by JKUAT.

In addition, the candidates MUST be registered with the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists (KSP). Foreign trained Therapists must be registered with their respective professional associations in their respective countries of training. They must also be compliant with the KSP requirements.

Mode of study: Full time and part. Part time classes hold on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Course duration: 4 (four) academic years.

Tuition fees per academic year: Kshs. 258,762/= (Two hundred fifty eight thousand, seven hundred and two shillings).
