JKUAT and Belgian University Firms Up Partnership 

A team from Vives University of Applied Sciences, Belgium is in JKUAT to explore cooperative tracks following the signing of a partnership agreement in July 2022. The team led by Mrs. Joke Calcoen, comprises Dr. Ir. Isabel Vanslembrouck, Mrs. Mieke Calus, and Mr. Evert Cottyn.

During the weeklong visit, the team will engage in thematic discussions with researchers across JKUAT’s Colleges of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Pure and Applied Science, and Engineering and Technology.

The collaborative effort between JKUAT and Vives University encompasses a wide array of initiatives, including educational and applied research programs, apprenticeships, as well as staff and student exchanges
